The Cotswolds Archery Range: Your Go-To Spot For Archery Sessions

Olympic Sport For All To Enjoy

Cotswold Archery was founded in 2012 and is a dedicated archery experience range in the Cotswolds, that caters to both the novice archer and established archers, wishing to use the archery range for extra practice/fine tuning or seeking coaching. We are a member of the Grand National Archery Society and an Archery Activity Partner with Archer GB, . Those new to the Olympic sport of archery can experience a 60min, 90min or the full two-hour archery experience with a professional archer. The experience will include using a wide variety of bows, starting with a basic wooden training bow for the first 60mins and then progressing to up to five other styles of bows, including the metal-handled Olympic recurve (The starting bow for many archers), a Syrian horse bow, a compound bow, a Mongolian bow, The Hungarian bow and the longbow.


The archery range offers established archers an ideal opportunity to practice their skills and hone their technique in an alternative venue, outside their normal archery club, an extra day of shooting. Archery coaching, equipment check can also be arranged to help them improve and find their perfect shot, the archer can also try out other bow styles at the unique venue. In the winter months, from November to February, One session is available from 10:30 to 12:30. During the spring, summer, and autumn seasons, from March to September, two sessions can be made available from 10:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 16:00 All sessions can be made available for established archers who want to practice on one of our six targets at our dedicated 18 meter range.

Have-a-Go at Archery/Axe Throwing

Cotswold Archery are opening their range for Have-a-go at archery and axe throwing, for all abilities. Archers can shoot 8 arrows for £5, using the Three piece wooden training bow, minimum age 8 years old.  Axe throwers can Have-a-go at throwing 4 Hatchet axes and 4 Norse axe for £5, minimum age 10 years old.

Booking is not required, first come, first served basis. Payment by cash or card.

On these dates - Sunday 14 April, Sunday 05 May and Sunday 19 May

Range open at 1100 - last arrow/last axe at 1400
